Our language and cultural connections with the land, sky, and all beings are at the core of worldview, identity, and purpose. At Nakona University, we believe that our language, traditions and culture will guide us to remain Indigenous. Our curriculum focuses on teaching plant knowledge, star knowledge, moon knowledge, water knowledge, wind knowledge, and knowledge of all our relatives - those that fly, crawl, swim, walk, stand, and even those unseen.
